Chances are that it will already be offered in the Mustang at that point, as shown in the near-production prototype pictures below (note the use of the 2010 Mustang GT air intake system). The Coyote is rumored to make 400 horses and 400 torque, although the technical specs are not at all clear. A DOHC design is obvious, and this prototype appears to use port fuel injection instead of the more desirable and more powerful (and cleaner) direct injection. Very clearly the engine does not use central direct injection. Twin sensors on each bank would suggest independently variable intake and exhaust cam timing.
