Press Council of India Long Silent On Sathya Sai Baba Bedroom Killings
2009-06-22 00:44:00
Scribes seek probe into Baba criticism by press council From: Express News Service. Anantapur. July, 1993 Anantapur District Journalists’ Union (ADJU) at its emergent meeting here on Monday passed an unanimous resolution requesting the Press Council of India to inquire into the criticism of Sri Sathya Sai Baba against the Press for publishing news items and ...

No Nobel Peace Prize For Self-Claimed God of Gods Sathya Sai Baba
2009-06-18 03:15:00
Not far short of a decade ago, it had been announced in Sathya Sai Baba centers round the world that Sathya Sai Baba was a candidate for a Nobel Peace Prize. On behalf of our networked group of former followers of Sathya Sai Baba , I wrote to Dr Geir Lundestad, then Director of the Nobel Institute. An exchange of emails ensued, and I provided him with in-depth documentation concerning Sathya Sai Baba and his sect. Dr Lundestad emphasized that the policy of the Institute is never to issue any list of candidates, either before or after the winners of the Peace Prize are announced, and that the names of Nobel Prize recipients are announced, while the names of failed candidates are not revealed. Dr Lundestad's statements are a far cry from the announcement of Sathya Sai center leaders worldwide. Great had been the rejoicings of devotees, despite the fact that a Nobel Peace Prize - in an odd come-down from the dizzy heights of Heaven - would sit oddly encircling the neck of God.
?Black Sheep? Of Sweden?s Nobel Family Called By Ba-Ba (Sathya Sai Baba)
2009-06-14 05:08:00
One of Sathya Sai Baba's many hugely expensive and major Sai propaganda efforts has been the setting up of Sai Global Harmony via WorldSpace International Satellite Radio Service. It broadcasts 24/7 to many countries. A director of WorldSpace is Dr Michael Nobel, who, contrary to long-uncorrected statements (e.g., in Wikipedia) by Sai Baba activists, is NOT the son of the Nobel Peace founder Alfed Nobel ? who died in 1896! But he, though widely considered 'black sheep' of the Nobel family, has answered the Ba-ba call of Sathya Sai Baba who, absurdly, told the Australian journalist, that when Jesus, the Lamb of God, called 'Ba-Ba', he was referring to Sathya Sai Baba! The Nobel 'black sheep' is making more than a bleat or too but has extended his international satellite broadcasting corporation to send Sai Baba propaganda across the air-waves of the world.

BBC and Other Film Footage Shows India?s Top Guru Sathya Sai Baba Faking Mi
2009-06-10 23:16:00
The Sathya Sai Baba Organization has tried to stem a major exit from congregations via a role it internally refers to as 'the waverer's committee'. This wealthy and highly authoritarian organization, which seeks to infiltrate mainstream civic, religious, education and political venues, will not be so frank as to show the waverers the following videos. For the Sathya Sai Organizations recruiting drives in luxurious venues, See: ?Secret Swami? Cult Recruits At Prime Public Venues. For the dangers posed in its infiltration of unsuspecting communities, while concealing its agendas, and often from its own rank-and-file, See, Sathya Sai Baba Sect and Its Hidden Agendas. A Caution To truthfully go through these stark video revelations of Sathya Sai Baba cheating with his (so-called) miracles is to see why Sathya Sai Baba defenders like Dr G. Venkataraman and Gerald Moreno have raised profound smokescreens and engineered such markedly distorted 'pictures' of hundreds of former Sathy...

Isaac Tigrett. Selling Out Those Condemned to a House Of Blues
2009-06-09 00:12:00
One of many Sathya Sai Baba backers, who have donated fortunes to the Sathya Sai Central Trust, is Isaac Tigrett, of the USA. The BBC's documentary 'The Secret Swami' (2004) exposed the attitudes of major figures connected with Sai Baba. Only Tigrett granted the 'probability' that the allegations of sexual abuse of boys and young men were true, but he still adheres to his guru, and has recently been reported living at Puttaparthi. Tigrett sold out his famous Hard Rock Cafe and House of Blues chains. But, too, he can understandably be regarded as having sold out honoured families and their children (many of them with a life-long devotion to Sathya Sai Baba) around the world who have been shattered by their treatment by Sathya Sai Baba and those in the international Sathya Sai Organization who have been involved in years of far-reaching cover-up

Attacks By Hooligans Against Foreign Students In Australia
2009-06-05 01:06:00
In relation to attacks against foreign students in Australia, there are some tough questions. The issue is complex, and not as portrayed either by certain sections of the India n media and zealots nor by an isolated but powerful and disgraceful class of radio biggots and their poorly-educated audiences we have in Australia, known as 'shock jocks'. No amount of misrepresentation can alter the facts that most Australians do not engage in nor approve of racism. Many who have migrated to this country from a great many countries attest to this fact. I offer some questions - very preliminary - that I think my fellow Australians will need to consider:

Indian Students Attacked In Melbourne Australia: Cricket Star Brett Lee Voi
2009-06-03 21:46:00
Brett Lee is a prominent example of strong ties between India and Australia . It is good that someone with his credibility has stepped forward to bring calm to the situation following recent attacks on Indian students in Melbourne. Unless leaders with credibility in both countries make their voices heard, discussions about the relative roles played by racism and sheer, opportunistic street thuggery looking for "soft targets" will not have a proper chance to be heard.

Attacks Against Indian Students in Melbourne, Australia
2009-06-02 00:16:00
There have been attacks against India n students in Melbourne, Australia. Yesterday's news reported what is alleged to have been a peaceful demonstration waylaid by a small number of anti-social elements. This blog recently reported Channel NineMSN's exposure of security personnel violence against protesting staff and disabled clients at SWARA in Brisbane. Reports that suggest the Melbourne protest was derailed by over-reaction of authorities, brought back eery reminders of those accounts which a number of those involved (including those who remain Sathya Sai Baba devotees) have given.

Sathya Sai Baba Man, Gerald Moreno: Islamic Terrorism Issue
2009-06-01 03:01:00
One of Gerald Moreno’s myriad character assassination forays against former Sai Baba devotee critics (and others like the India n Rationalist B.Premanand and the independent British scholar Kevin Shepherd) has been the attempt to make it seem as though I would incite Islam ic terrorism. In fact, I had long ago written a cautionary piece showing how terrorists might regard ...

Sathya Sai Baba Sect and Its Hidden Agendas. A Caution
2009-05-30 01:47:00
Sathya Sai Baba sect devotees around the world speak constantly of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence. They would link up with you, smile happily with you, act in a manner that has every appearance of professional and ethical responsibility. But there is a hidden agenda. What is more, core leaders keep a great deal hidden from the rank-and-file members. This means that the latter are all the more convincing when they interface with their communities - for they come across as honest, decent and nice people. They often are

2009-05-25 14:13:00
All of us have so much to learn from the Susan Boyle phenomenon – one which goes far beyond her wonderful voice. It is a topic not about how to sing – but rather about not judging people by their appearance, and in taking her example of courage in the face of social forces that ...

Sathya Sai Baba?s Failed Moon Miracle Under Heavy Cloud
2009-05-23 01:36:00
An article that has continued to gain many ‘hits’ long months after the posting at: http://barrypittard.wordpress.com is:  Sai Baba To Be Seen In Moon ? But Where Was Moon? The almost acrobatic contortions of Sai Baba’s defenders are well-nigh tortuous to read. Perhaps they impart some kind of imagined bliss to those who habitually refuse to look carefully at the evidence ...

Why Do Prominent Sathya Sai Baba Sect Critics Persist?
2009-05-20 02:56:00
Why should so many former Sathya Sai Baba devotees have left him? Why, in the attempt to bring about proper third party investigation, would prominent former devotee critics of him and his sect have persisted for nearly a decade? The Necessity of Fearless, Articulate Questioning of A Worldwide Sect In the case of those in the last quadrant of their lives, why would they ? after long and dedicated service in their professions, communities and families ? not simply enjoy their retirement years? Or, rather, their refreshment years. Why would critics withstand constant attacks on themselves, being stalked and harrassed, shunned by those they knew and loved as fellow devotees down many years, and their lives intruded upon by unprincipled fanatics into their lives?

UK Minister Tony McNulty Finished? Indian Guru Sai Baba Link Should Be Prob
2009-05-10 04:40:00
Tony McNulty MP, the Sathya Sai Baba -partial British government Employment Minister is in still bigger trouble. He looks likely to face police investigation. It had seemed that McNulty was headed for close to the ultimate Ministerial portfolio, that of Home Minister. It is a far cry for him now. McNulty's plummet from political heights is not the only disgrace faced by those Sathya Sai Baba has 'favoured'. After the fatal incompetence before and during the extreme Islamic terrorists on Mumbai, the (then) Home Minister of India, Shivraj Patil fell.

Sathya Sai Baba Man Joe Moreno?s Diabolizing Photo Alterations of Sai Baba
2009-05-09 00:26:00
The principal internet critic of Sathya Sathya Sai Baba critics (beside Dr G.Venkataraman) is Gerald Joe Moreno of New Mexico, USA. He virtually lives in virtual reality - if reality it is. For the last few years, day after day (and night, of course), he has made countless attacks of various kinds on practically anyone who has raised his and her voice in criticism of the idol of Moreno's life, Sathya Sai Baba. The 'maturity' of these endeavours questions the support given to Moreno by both leading Sathya Sai Baba and rank-and-file personnel, including members of the International Sathya Sai Organization. But one example of Moreno's disparaging 'art' and 'craft' is that against Sanjay Dadlani, whose University authorities have been beset with material that Moreno has sent to vilify and destroy this young man. So as to concentrate on his studies heading towards a Ph.D in neuro-Psychology, Dadlani has, for a considerable time, withdrawn (since early August, 2008, I think) f...

Sathya Sai Baba Man Gerald Moreno?s Photo Attack On Robert Priddy
2009-05-08 01:41:00
'Sathya Sai Baba - Love, Life and Spirituality' is the title of one of the most scurrilous sites of the Internet. Should any Sathya Sai Baba devotee wish to assure themselves that no definition of 'Life, Love and Spirituality' would fit the (to put the matter mildly!) voluminous writings of Sai Baba chief defender on the Internet, they need administer a five to ten minute test: randomly consult even the titles in the Urls (links) and note the abundance of 'hot', derogatory and calumnious words. Many links of these heavily libelous attack articles are listed - and yet are but a tiny indication of his protean activities - See, Sathya Sai Baba Casebook-Factsheet . The following three Moreno hand-crafted distortions of Robert Priddy are from Moreno's questionably-named blogsite 'Sathya Sai Baba - Life, Love and Spirituality'.

Sathya Sai Baba Man Gerald Moreno - Banned By Eight Wikpedia Editors
2009-05-02 02:36:00
In case legal actions and/or media interest occur, Moreno's and the Sathya Sai Organization libels of many decent and upright members of wider communities throughout the world, are being recorded. This is so, also, of material that he takes off the Internet. Evidence of Moreno's connections with those close to Sathya Sai Baba, as well as various members of the Sathya Sai Organization in various countries, will be provided to bona fide media, scholarly and other investigators well-respected in the international community.

Sathya Sai Organization: World Communities Need To Treat This Sect Cautious
2009-04-30 00:10:00
Key leaders of the international Sathya Sai Organization, and their often unsuspecting and decent rank-and-file, would link up with you, smile happily with you, act in a manner that has every appearance of professional and ethical responsibility. They seek to enter into shared endeavours with you in regard to your schools, civic and religious organizations, sporting organizations, your municipal, state and central governments, etc. They do worthy works of social uplift, but in fact they have agendas that they keep from you salient information - that you have every right to know - under tight seals of prohibition as instructed by the guru and his core servitors.

Robert Priddy?s Series On Sathya Sai Baba Man, Gerald Moreno
2009-04-26 01:54:00
I note with a certain awe at his great energy - which he by no means reserves only for exposing Sathya Sai Baba and his sect - that Robert Priddy is still adding to his series in which he refutes the writings of one hellbent on scurrility, Gerald Moreno, who leagues in his endeavours with Sai devotees including those close to Sathya Sai Baba. Moreno, moreover, has a certain status as a popular hero for those who also profess but do not carry out the spiritual teachings of Sathya Sai Baba.

Sai Baba Internet Man?s Attacks Based On Age and Physical Appearance
2009-04-25 03:35:00
I referred to the wonderful Scottish songstress Susan Boyle in my article: Susan Boyle. Unexpected Divine Chanteuse. Sweet 47. Posted by Barry Pittard on April 17, 2009. Many others, also deeply moved, have written of her - in the media, blogs and elsewhere. Her lovely example, as seen earlier that April on Britain's Got Talent, challenges us all. Many have felt that Susan Boyle can teach us a lot about qualities of true grit. Her singing and courage against stereotyping grounded on age and appearance have swept much of the industrialised world. All of us have something to learn from her, including Gerald Moreno, of New Mexico, USA, whom important members of the Sathya Sai Organization have encouraged and assisted.

Alice Meets Sathya Sai Baba
2009-04-24 02:40:00
Within Hinduism, the Shiva lingam often represents the wonder and majesty of creation-dissolution, a symbol of limitlessness. However, by associating these resonances with fraudulence, Sathya Sai Baba does questionable service to the religion he supposedly promotes. See Wikipedia, under ?Lingam?.

Susan Boyle. Unexpected Divine Chanteuse. Sweet 47.
2009-04-17 14:12:00
Judgementalism on the grounds of a person's body shape, place of origin, social status, and so on, is, course, one of humanity's most destructive tendencies. Is there a profound lesson to be learnt by every one of us? In a few moments, I shall come to the wondrous Susan Boyle , whose performance and example would, I should think, make many of you weep freely and give her a standing ovation in your heart. Ms Boyle's story inescapably reminded me of the lines of the English poet, Thomas Gray (1716-1771): Full many a gem of purest ray serene The dark unfathomed caves of ocean bear: Full many a flower is born to blush unseen, And waste its sweetness on the desert air." I shall come to Ms Boyle in few moments. Her moment will last forever ...

Sathya Sai Baba Apologist Joe Moreno?s Random Personal Attack Style (1)
2009-04-15 00:49:00
In the writings of Sathya Sai Baba’s foremost apologists, it is very typical to attempt to make it appear as though Sai Baba critics live, somehow, in each other’s grey and homogenous pockets. Fortunately, there is a great deal that has been written by competent and rational commentators on Sathya Sai Baba and his worldwide sect, such as ...

Sathya Sai Baba Saint? Gerald Joe Moreno
2009-04-14 14:20:00
When any competent reader puts these alongside the writing of Sai Baba sect proxy apologists such as Gerald Moreno , the qualitative difference leaps into view. 'Joe' Moreno and Sai Baba's official Internet propagandist Dr G. Venkataraman evidently assume that some of the world's most reputed organs such as the BBC, CBC, SBS, ABC, Times of London, UNESCO, etc., are peopled with incompetents unable to guage good credentials of those whom their highly-trained journalists investigate. A cult may not see its own cultishness, but others do.

Sathya Sai Organization: Factors Far Beyond Known Critiques Undermine It

Some, in their great sense of betrayal by Sai Baba and his international Sathya Sai Organization , have poured out their anguish to various widely-respected groups in the community, including to their leaderships. This was bound to happen. For an example of how the Sai Organization - while strongly cloaking their agendas of working for a Sathya Sai Baba-ruled world - attempts to work its way into both religious and civic mainstreams
