The Supreme Court president said the following:Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch said on Tuesday that the charge sheet against Vice Premier Haim Ramon was worse than the one against former president Mosh e Kats av.Beinisch made the statement during a High Court discussion of petitions against a plea bargain signed by Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz, which erased Katsav's more serious charges in exchange for the former president admitting to sexual harassment and performing indecent acts.The problem with this here is that I cannot tell whether she said it for good reasons or not. But Ramon is certainly much more guilty of committing an indecent act than Katsav supposedly is.

Gilad Schalit in a cross-border raid near Kerem Shalom last June has been arrested, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announced Friday afternoon, lifting a gag order.Muhammad Salameh Abed Zufi, 30, was apprehended in Rafah on June 9.The Shin Bet said that Zufi, who admitted during his interrogation that he had photographed the Kerem Shalom raid, also said he had involved in a 2002 raid on the "Africa" outpost in the same area on the Gaza border.
