Most press releases would say that this by far was the most successful Ad Congress in recent years. In terms of turn-out, the more than 3,300 delegates was an indication that it is. I would just attempt to share some of my experiences, some not that pleasant, that somewhat ruined an otherwise decent Ad Congress event. It is my opinion and not necessarily the opinion of the majority. Parking. We bought parking passes that was ?inutil? to say the least. Everyone can park, car pass or not anywhere. So we are suckers to the congress who will charge a fee for those willing to be duped PARADISE parking is for those ?trusting? individuals who follow rules. The rest of those in the industry would rather park in the nearby side streets rather than park in that muddy piece of land and walk for 3 minutes one way.SBMA authorities issued traffic tickets without even consulting with Ad Cong parking and security department creating unnecessary stres...

Dentsu Executive offends and humiliates employee with brothel and onsen tri

The Associated Press is reporting some embarrassing news about Dentsu , Japan’s largest advertising agency. Steve Biegel, a former executive of Dentsu’s U.S. branch, is suing the company because CEO Toyo Shigeta forced Biegel into awkward, sexually charged situations: Shigeta took them to a brothel, leaving Biegel, who is married, offended and humiliated that he had been forced or duped into going there, the lawsuit said. It said Shigeta later demanded they participate in prostitution and became angry when they did not, accusing them of being “no fun.� The lawsuit said Shigeta later told them that having sex with prostitutes was a proper style of conducting business and commemorating business dealings. She was supposedto have a minor out patient surgery at Makati MedicalCenter at 230pm.I had taken a leave from work to accompany her there.We dropped off our daughter, Amber, at my parentsplace in QC to babysit at around 10am.
